As a kid, I wasn't a big fan of being photographed, but as time has passed, I've realized how precious those old photos are, especially when they contain loved ones who are no longer with us.
ADDITIONALLY AS A MEMBER OF THE QUEER COMMUNITY, I'M DEVOTED TO CREATING PORTRAITS THAT REFLECT WHO WE ARE ON THE INSIDE. I value your comfort, both during your seession, and when you admire your photos in the coming years.
MOMENTS ARE SUCH ELUSIVE THINGS. WHO WEre in the past MIGHT BE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM WHO WE ARE TODAY. TIME SLIPS FORWARD WHETHER WE WANT IT TO OR NOT. PHOTOGRAPHY, HOWEVER, CAN CAPTURE THOSE MOMENTS AND SAVE THEM FOR US FOREVER.
That's why I'm so passionate about getting everyone in the picture. Whether that means you pose for formal family portraits, or designate a photographer to document special occasions, I want you to live in your important moments, and still have memories to cherish in the decades to come.

“Thank you so much for all the great pictures. You gave me some HOTTT pics of my man and awesome pics of my kids. Love them all. I now have some great screen savers to make me realize how blessed I am every day. Thank you!”

“Emily was patient, fun, and put us all at ease. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a professional photographer. Her energy during the session was positive and light hearted. . . . Emily was great. She had us do this pose. I am so glad she did. This is hands down one of my favorite pictures of Steve and I.”

“I've been in the habit of taking our holiday photos each year, but in 2020, I thought I'd have my talented friend and fellow photographer, Emily Murphy, come out to our new digs and take them instead. Excellent decision! Even though the toddler wasn't having it, she still managed to capture some beautiful moments for us.”
